hello.

I’m Kylie, the director of development for The Trail Foundation who works to protect, enhance, and connect the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake for the benefit of all. Before deciding to devote my career to nonprofits, I attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa to study journalism & political science. In 2012, my love for nonprofits started with my first internship in advocacy & organizing. From there I moved to marketing & communication and eventually to nonprofit development.

Most of my free time is spent in the great outdoors. I love exploring the many trails Texas has to offer with my pup, Roxie, and spending weekends camping or heading to the lake.
