Krantz fills Des Moines vegan eating niche
It didn’t take long for Madeline Krantz to figure out that Des Moines was missing something, and once she did, she decided to take action. What Des Moines lacks is options. People do not often think about how difficult it is for others to find a place to eat that fits their chosen lifestyle. As a vegan, Krantz knows all about this constant struggle and decided to do something about it by co-opening and becoming the chef at a new, all vegan café.

After studying public relations, marketing, and business at Drake University, Emilee Richardson was able to turn a summer job as a camp counselor into a career she loves. She didn’t always have the job of her dreams, but by using some connections that she made both at Drake and as she was working at the Science Center of Iowa as a camp counselor, she was able to land a job that she is excited about every day.
